Manage Applicants

Keep your applicant directory in order — search applicant records, capture new applicants with full profile defaults, import in bulk, and start applications on an applicant's behalf.

3 min read

The Applicants directory is your shared customer register — every person who has applied, or might apply, for a loan. Each applicant record carries the saved profile defaults that pre-fill their applications, plus their full origination history.

The Applicants List#

Select Applicants under Admin in the sidebar. Search by name, email, or phone; each row shows:

ColumnWhat it shows
ApplicantTheir full name.
Email address / Phone numberContact details on record.
Latest statusThe status badge of their most recent application.
ApplicationsHow many applications they've made.
Latest amountThe amount on their most recent application.
Latest activityWhen something last happened.

Two buttons sit in the header: New applicant and Import.

Creating an Applicant#

Select New applicant to capture a full record before any application exists — useful when someone applies in person or over the phone. The form covers Applicant identity (including ID number), Residential address, Employer, Banking, Affordability, and Next of kin.

Select Create applicant and the record is saved — no invite email is sent, so nothing lands in the applicant's inbox until you choose to involve them.

The Applicant Detail Page#

Open any applicant to see their summary — email, phone, customer ID, and application count — plus editable cards for every profile section:

  • Applicant identity — updates the shared customer record.
  • Address — pre-fills the address step of new applications.
  • Employer — their employer details.
  • Banking — where disbursements and debit orders are directed.
  • Affordability — the income and expenses used by the affordability assessment.
  • Next of kin — the fallback contact used for collections and recovery.

Each card saves independently, so you can correct a phone number without touching anything else.

At the bottom, Application history lists every application with its status, amount, documents, and a link straight into application review.

Applying on an Applicant's Behalf#

From the applicant detail, select New application to start one for them. You get the exact same eight-step wizard applicants use, pre-filled from their saved profile defaults — confirm the details, upload their documents, and submit. The application lands in the review queue like any other.

This is the standard flow for walk-in or telephonic applications: capture the applicant once, then apply on their behalf whenever they need a loan.
